Aerial View Perceptions (AVP) – Data Scale & Security

Challenge:

This drone imagery startup struggled to store and process terabytes of aerial photos. Local storage was maxed out, and client deliveries were delayed, limiting growth.

Solution:

We built a scalable AWS data platform for AVP, including:

• Migration of their massive image library to Amazon S3 with lifecycle rules for cost optimization
• Amazon EC2 compute resources for on-demand image analysis
• Deployment of resources in AWS GovCloud (US) for projects requiring CJIS compliance

Outcome:

AVP can now:

• Scale seamlessly as data grows
• Complete tasks in minutes instead of hours
• Expand confidently into government-related markets with FedRAMP and CJIS-compliant infrastructure
